Support the Flatwater Shakespeare Company on Give to Lincoln Day 2016!

Your gift to Flatwater Shakespeare Company supports not only our upcoming FREE summer tour of The Taming of the Shrew, but also our youth production of the same show – and our first-ever staging of The Merchant of Venice, this fall at the Swan Theatre at Wyuka.
Last year's programs culminated in a powerful interpretation of Hamlet at the Swan. Matt Lukasiewicz's portrayal of the title role has earned him a 2016 Artistic Achievement Award in the Performing Arts from the city of Lincoln's Mayor's Arts Awards. News of the recognition prompted this response from an audience member: “A most deserved honor! Matt's performance was exemplary. Congratulations to him . . . plus a big thank you to Flatwater Shakespeare for producing fine theatrical performances for Lincoln audiences that allow performers like Matt and other company members to demonstrate their skills.”

Give To Lincoln Day offers a great chance to make an impact on Lincoln’s quality of life. We encourage everyone to join us for a record-setting day of giving on May 26. Together, we have the power to support Lincoln’s nonprofit organizations devoted to improving and enriching lives. Each donation helps even more than the face amount because it qualifies the organization to receive a proportional share of the $300,000 challenge match pool.

Gifts can be made online from now to May 26.
