Again and Again in Lincoln's Top Ten

Flatwater Shakespeare productions and actors were repeat honorees in 2012's lists of Top Individual Performances and Shows by Jeff Korbelik of the Lincoln Journal Star.

In the Top Individual Performances –

Richard Nielsen as Roy Cohn, Angels in America, Part Two: Perestroika.  "The drama was filled with amazing talent -- Matt and Summer Lukasiewicz, Nate Weiss, and Darin Hemmer as a last-minute replacement -- but this was Nielsen’s best work to date."

Andy Dillehay as Feste the Clown, Twelfth Night. "With hair colored as a rainbow, Dillehay was a standout among several fine performances in this Shakespeare comedy."

In the Top Shows –

Angels in America, Part Two: Perestroika,” Flatwater Shakespeare. "Director Bob Hall brought back the players from last year’s Part One to finish Tony Kushner’s Pulitzer Prize winner about the 1980s AIDS crisis."

Congratulations to Richard, Andy, Bob, and all the honorees -- including such Flatwater Shakespeare associates as Becky Key Boesen, Sasha Dobson, Mary Douglass, Scott Glen, and Jeff Tinnean!
