All show times for The Taming of the Shrew, 7 p.m.  Seats are provided at the Swan Theatre and Lincoln Community Foundation Garden; limited seating available at other locations, so bring lawn chairs or blankets.

No admission charge.  $10 donation suggested (and gladly received).

The show's opening weekend is Friday, June 10, through Sunday, June 12, all at The Swan Theatre at Wyuka Stables. Last year's programs culminated in a powerful interpretation of Hamlet at the Swan. Matt Lukasiewicz's portrayal of the title role has earned him a 2016 Artistic Achievement Award in the Performing Arts from the city of Lincoln's Mayor's Arts Awards. News of the recognition prompted this response from an audience member: “A most deserved honor! Matt's performance was exemplary. Congratulations to him . . . plus a big thank you to Flatwater Shakespeare for producing fine theatrical performances for Lincoln audiences that allow performers like Matt and other company members to demonstrate their skills.”
